Every year Golden Week starts from 29 April to 05 May + Saturday & Sunday, approximately 10 days holiday.
Actually, 01 & 02 May are normal business day, but some people get annual leaves and make longer consecutive day offs.
Until last year, due to the border restriction there were a lot of vacancies for hotels, tours, and other transports.
Now the COVID is over then COVID test or vaccination certificates are no longer to submit so it’s really back to the normal travel situation.
Most accommodations are fully booked and there is problems for worker shortage.
It’s time to travel Japan! This is one of the travel examples for golden route.
Chichibu Trip with Japan Golden Route (12 Days)

<Day 1>
Take night flight then arriving at Haneda airport next morning
<Day 2>
Arrive at Haneda airport in the morning and meet your driver.
With your charter transfer, you move to Nagatoro.

Even if you arrive before check-in, you can leave your luggage at the front and go out for your journey!
The check-in time is around 2pm – 3pm. After check-in, you will (or already?) feel the Japanese style – welcome sprits. You will be amazed by the great Arakawa river view from your room, open-air bath, and Japanese style dinner with your private room.

After check-out, you can leave your luggage at your Ryokan for a while then you can enjoy a little bit more walking around or any activities.

At the end of this day, move to Chichibu-city.

Visit former Arakara-village, Bushu-Nakagawa station to experience Soba (buckwheat noodle) cooking experience. Arakawa-village is also called “Soba Hometown”.
You can go back to Chichibu-city and visit Hitsujiyama Park, Chichibu-shrine, and so on.

Move to Tokyo with your private transfer
Just enjoy your free time or rest time at Tokyo.
