From Australia, every year a lot of Aussie visit Japan for their winter sports holiday. I would like to introduce some famous ski/snowboarding spots for Australian. If interesting, please feel free to contact us and happy to arrange your ski/ snowboarding trip in Japan!

1. Hakuba (白馬)
Hakuba is located in west side of Nagano prefecture and takes about 4 ~ 5 hours by driving from Haneda or Narita airport. Here is also rural so even if you go from Chichibu, it may take 3.5 – 4 hours.
When Nagano Winter Olympic / Paralympic Games was held in 1998, the Hakuba was also one of the competition ski resorts.
There are 9 ski mountains and all ski players & snowboarders should be able to enjoy! The technical levels do not matter! From beginners to veterans, all people can be fun because various kinds of courses are made in this ski resort. Then because of the great quality powder snow, you should feel comfortable downhill!

2. Madarao Kogen (斑尾高原)
If you want to challenge more different ski places every day, Madarao should be more suitable for you. Madarao ski moutains are like much more “adventure” and it must get your ski / snowboarding more exciting!
Not only Madarao, you can also visit the next ski resort, Myoko & Nozawa Onsen village ski resort!
Madarao is also getting many bookings from Australia too! If you want to experience winter adventure, Madarao is definitely recommended!

3. Niseko (ニセコ)
No need to say more, Hokkdaido is the first ski/snowboard place that everyone starts to plan their ski holidays.
Of course here is also sort of sacred powder snow place and especially Niseko is popular from China, Hongkong, Taiwan, and Australia!
With ski/snowboarding activities, food culture experience is also enjoyable for your holiday. Hokkaido local food makes you holiday Japan feeling!
In daytime, enjoy ski and get yourself hungry, head to get Hokkaido food! This must be the best plan!
