1. About the Misotsuchi of Icicles
In Japanese, it is called “Misotsuchi -no- Tsurara”, the huge icicles in Chichibu winter season. If you keep going west from the Chichibu city, little by little the view of landscape around yourself is changing and you arrive at much deeper spot. The icicle landscape is located between two camping ground so if you do camping here in winter season, although it is really cold weather, what you will feel there must go over it.
There are other icicles spots, but only Misotsuchi’s one is natural icicles on the other hand other spots are artificial.
Some parts of icicles in Misotsuchi are artificials, but the natural ones can be made only here!
2. Light Up Icicles!
Light-up event is really limited, just a few weeks between January and February! Do not miss the rare chances to be able to see!

The light-up time is usually between 5pm – 7pm, but it depends on the day, sometimes it is extended, sometimes shortened.
3. Access
Once you get to Seibu Chichibu Station, there are several public buses, however, it should be complicated. Get your own transfer!

If you have own transport, there are two camping facilities’ paid parking are available.
