I have been there many times since when I was a kid. It is like looking back to 10 decades ago in the café!
The cafe is MOKUTEI （木亭）, which means wooden house café. The location is at the different side of any sightseeing spots so it may be difficult to find.
I think here is the secret cafe place. The appearance doesn’t look café, like one of the antique shop.
After you come into the entrance, you go up to the second floor by steps, then when you open the door, the café space is, yes, antique café!
It seems that you are watching a little bit old Japanese anime, aren’t you?
The coffee cups and plates are also beautiful and matched with the café atmosphere.
Of course meals and drinks are delicious, but not only it is, all served things make us calm and feeling like time pause.
